Catalogue
This volume includes selections from three projects, each of which emerged from an artist in residence fellowship.
The series AT THE HORIZON surfaced from time spent at Acadia National Park in 2010 where I submerged myself in the study of tides and the kinetic energy of waves.
MAKING TRACKS started in Wyoming in 2011 at the Ucross Foundation as I became increasingly fascinated with mark making.
And in 2013, NEGATIVE/POSITIVE (formerly Skin, Shells and Meats) materialized at the Jentel Foundation as I considered the power of memory and materials.
A limited number of copies remain in this edition of 250. Each catalogue is signed and numbered by the artist and includes text by Roy Flukinger, Senior Research Curator, Harry Ransom Center, The University of Texas at Austin and April M.
