Six feet of line day after day.

Project Statement

During the COVID-19 pandemic I found an old piece of fishing line in my studio. The first day I coiled it up, creating a birds nest of exquisite circular tangles and then made a photogram. The following day I untangled the line and started again. Tangling and untangling. It wasn’t until later in this daily practice that I measured the length of the line, it was the length between my outstretched arms, finger tips to finger tips, a fathom, six feet.
